Puddleduck Lodge is a lovely 2 bedroom log cabin on the banks of the Troutbeck river just a few metres downstream of Riverside Lodge.
There are great views of the Lakeland fells and the river from the balcony.

The Lodges
Both Riverside and Puddleduck Lodges provide a very high standard of accommodation and have wonderful balconies overlooking the river and the Lake District fells. Barbeques and outdoor tables and chairs are provided for dining beside the river.
The lodges have attractive pine interiors and exteriors and are bright and cool in summer, and warm and cosy in winter, with flame gas fires and electric panel heaters. The log cabins are dog friendly with well behaved pets welcome and staying free of charge at both Lodges.
Both Riverside Lodge and Puddleduck Lodge are situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park at Limefitt in the Troutbeck valley. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Lake District yet very peaceful and relaxing. Many lovely walks start straight from the front door of your Lodge.
The Lodges are also close to the bustling towns of Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness and only 20 minutes from the M6 motorway. These Lake District Lodges can be rented separately or both together and short breaks are available at most times of the year.
